We live in a pretty remarkable part of Ontario.
People come here to ski.
To hike.
To spend summers at the beach.
To ride.
To golf.
To escape Toronto for a weekend.
And some of us are lucky enough to simply call it home.
Breakfast around here can mean a lot of different things.
It can be six people around a cottage table in Wasaga Beach.
It can be coffee before first tracks at Blue.
It can be grandparents with a house suddenly full of kids.
Or it can just be two people sitting quietly on a Sunday morning wondering whether either one of them is going to make breakfast.
That's the little piece of life Rise & Bagel gets to be part of.
We make the dough the day before.
We get up ridiculously early.
We boil and bake the bagels.
And then we drive around one of the nicest places in the country dropping breakfast at people's doors.
There are worse ways to make a living.
And there are definitely worse ways to start a morning.
