There may be only one thing better than Thanksgiving dinner.
Thanksgiving leftovers.
The next morning, open the fridge and you probably have everything you need to make a pretty remarkable bagel sandwich.
Start with a toasted Plain, Sesame, Poppy Seed or Everything bagel.
Add sliced turkey.
Then comes the fun part.
A little stuffing. A spoonful of cranberry sauce. Maybe some gravy. A slice of cheese if that’s your thing. Even a little mashed potato can find its way in there.
There really isn’t a wrong answer.
It’s Thanksgiving dinner between two halves of a freshly toasted bagel — and somehow it tastes completely different the next day.
For something a little simpler, turkey, cranberry sauce and cream cheese make a pretty great combination on their own.
We make big, 185g bagels at Rise & Bagel, so they can handle a serious sandwich. And the chewy crust and soft centre make a pretty good home for everything that survived Thanksgiving dinner.
Maybe make a little extra turkey this year.
You know where it’s going.
