Why Breakfast Delivery Is Different From Takeout

Why Breakfast Delivery Is Different From Takeout

There’s nothing wrong with going out for breakfast. We love a good breakfast place.

But breakfast delivered to your front door is something different.

At Rise & Bagel, we don’t have a dining room or a pickup counter. We’re a local bakery built around a simple idea: make breakfast overnight and bring it to you early in the morning.

That changes the experience.

There’s no getting dressed to go out, no driving across town, no waiting for a table and no making a pickup run before everyone else wakes up. You open the front door and breakfast is there.

Made for the morning

Our bagels are made here, starting with a long cold fermentation before being hand rolled, boiled and baked. While most of the community is sleeping, we’re baking and getting orders ready for delivery.

Then we head out.

By the time the coffee is on and the house starts moving, breakfast can already be waiting outside.

That’s particularly nice on a Saturday or Sunday morning, but we don’t think doorstep breakfast should be limited to weekends.

Rise & Bagel delivers Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday throughout Collingwood, Wasaga Beach, The Blue Mountains, Craigleith, Thornbury, Stayner and Creemore.

Breakfast without interrupting breakfast

Maybe that’s the real difference between delivery and takeout.

Takeout still asks you to go somewhere.

Doorstep delivery lets you stay exactly where you are.

And some mornings, that’s precisely where you want to be.
