People occasionally ask where our store is.
We don't have one.
And that's not an accident.
Rise & Bagel was built around the idea that the bakery doesn't necessarily need to be where the customer is.
The bagels do.
Instead of asking you to get in the car and come to us, we bake early in the morning and bring your order to you.
It allows us to concentrate on the things we're good at.
Making bagels.
Making breakfast.
And delivering it while it's fresh.
It also means we can stay small.
We know how many orders we have. We know what needs to be baked. And we're not filling display cases with food hoping somebody eventually comes through the door and buys it.
There are certainly easier business models.
But there's something wonderfully simple about knowing that every bag of bagels coming out of the bakery already has somewhere to go.
Usually someone's front door.
We like that.
